Hawaiʻi Storm Relief

Helping Hawaiʻi Communities Respond, Recover & Rebuild

Our prayers go out to South side of Big Island, Naalehu, Ka’u, and Pahala Communities, as well as East Maui. When disaster strikes, Hawaiʻi communities come together.

Hawaiʻi Storm Relief, powered by the Hawaiʻi Resilience Network, connects essential supplies, people, organizations, and resources with communities impacted by storms and disasters.

We work alongside local nonprofits, community leaders, county agencies, businesses, volunteers, and residents to help get critical resources where they are needed most.

From immediate storm relief to long-term community resilience, we help Hawaiʻi care for Hawaiʻi.

  • Non-perishable food

  • Baby and family essentials

  • First-aid supplies

  • Batteries, flashlights, and emergency supplies

  • Generators and emergency equipment

  • Cleanup and recovery supplies

  • Transportation and delivery support

  • Storage, packing, and logistics

  • Community distribution sites

  • Resilience hub setup and support

Getting Resources Where They Are Needed Most

Effective disaster response takes coordination.

Hawaiʻi Storm Relief brings together community organizations, nonprofits, agencies, businesses, volunteers, and resource providers to move support from where it is available to where it is needed.

We support multiple distribution sites and community hubs while helping coordinate transportation, supplies, volunteers, communications, and other critical resources.

Hawaiʻi Cares for Hawaiʻi

Our strength comes from the people who show up.

Local nonprofits. Community leaders. Businesses. Volunteers. First responders. Agencies. Neighbors helping neighbors.

Building Resilience Beyond the Storm

Storm relief is about more than responding to an emergency.

It is about helping communities become stronger, more connected, and better prepared for what comes next.

Hawaiʻi Storm Relief supports the development and strengthening of community resilience hubs, local partnerships, resource networks, and disaster-response capacity so communities can be better positioned before the next storm arrives.

Kōkua. Connection. Resilience.

We believe Hawaiʻi has the people, knowledge, and aloha needed to care for its communities. Our role is to help connect those resources and get them where they can make the greatest difference.

We are committed to:

Community First
Listening to communities and prioritizing the needs identified on the ground.

Local Partnerships
Working alongside organizations and leaders who know their communities best.

Resource Access
Helping move critical supplies, services, and support to communities facing barriers.

Coordination
Connecting people and resources to reduce duplication and fill gaps.

Long-Term Resilience
Supporting communities not only through immediate response, but also through recovery and preparedness.
